Option A.E. Safari 1 (9 DAYS SAFARI)

Amboseli National Park

Day 1 : Pick up clients from JKIA and drop off at your respective hotel in the city for overnight Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2 : After breakfast at your hotel, start your safari to Amboseli National Park arriving for lunch at Oltukai Lodge. It’s perched on the outlook of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the famous Amboseli Elephants sinking in the Swamp for the day feeding. Followed by afternoon drive, dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Extended morning and afternoon game viewing, dinner and overnight in the Lodge.

Day 3 : After an early breakfast drive to Nyeri Outspan Hotel arriving there for Lunch via Kenya Central Highlands. Drop off at the hotel – their own vehicles will transfer you to the Treetop Hotel. Treetop is famous where Queen Elizabeth II went up as a Princess and came down as a Queen after the death of her mother; it’s set in woodlands at the heart of Aberdare National Park. Designed with huge balconies and lounges that allow all night game viewing. Its buzzer system also operates in each room to alert guests when animals are sighted. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : After an early morning breakfast you are transferred back to Outspan. Depart for Samburu arriving for lunch at Samburu Intrepid Camp. In Samburu, if you are lucky you will see the famous Samburu big five, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuks, Somali Ostrich, the majestic Beisa Oryx and the rare reticulated giraffes. Afternoon game viewing, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5 : Extended morning and Afternoon game drive, Dinner and overnight at the camp. During the day its very hot and all animals hide under the shade but with optional Samburu village visit, you can go with game and route along the river. Looking for the huge groups of elephants coming for water.

Day 6 : After an early breakfast, depart for Nakuru with a stop at the Thompson Falls to explore the beautiful scenario and the cool climate in the central highlands, drive on arriving for lunch in the hotel you are booked in. Afternoon game drive in the worlds greatest ornithological spectacles Lake Nakuru National Park with over 450 species of birds and also the sanctuary to the greatly endangered Black Rhinos. Its also the home of the white Rhinos, Rothschild giraffe, hot spot of the Leopards hanging in the acacia tree for an easy vicinity. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 : Early morning game drives in the park return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast drive through the Great Rift Valley into Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for Lunch at any hotel or camp that you are booked in. Afternoon game viewing in the vast Mara plains in search of the famous Big Five, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Performing full day game drive is optional although sometimes the sun is too hot but its advisable morning and afternoon game drives when most of the animals that are nocturnal or diurnal are active. Overnight at the camp or your lodge.

Day 9 : After an early morning game, drive back to the hotel for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi arriving for Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant or any other restaurant that you are booked in. You can do an excation tour within the city; may be visiting Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen, as part of the Kenya National Museums to discover the Kenyan City beauty. After all you are transferred to JKIA to catch up your flight back home.
